“Scoop” isn’t really the best word IMO. The theory is that the flared corona of the penis has evolved because it’s a successful adaption that creates a suction effect that plunges other males’ semen from the vagina during sex.

It’s a relatively recent theory, or else we probably would’ve seen Charles using it as a pickup line. Modern AU writers, take note.
