Seriously, we were on the Cartier website like… two days ago? Three? Choosing a specific piece for a specific purpose, and it was one of this line. It’s really bananas to see it in a photo with Fassbender today!
Michael Fassbender: I’m a terrible handyman
Michael Fassbender has revealed that he is “awful” at DIY.
The 35-year-old hunk has won an army of fans from all over the world, thanks to his brooding good looks.
Although he oozes masculinity, Michael admits he struggles when it comes to doing odd jobs about his home.
“The last five months have been all airports and hotels. So now I am going to be here for a while. My flat is like…. I haven’t done anything to it. I need to get some builders in to fix it up, but I’ve been saying that for years. I’m an awful DIY man,” he told the latest issue of UK magazine Elle. “My dad’s really good and I don’t take after him. He used to say I have two left hands.”
Michael has attempted to put together some furniture at his apartment in London. However, he soon became frustrated and turned to the manufacturer for help.
“I can’t even do Ikea. Trying was one of my darkest moments,” he laughed. “I even called them up!
Usually I say I have a competence kink, but I think Fassbender just gave me a “cheerful incompetence” kink. :D

And I am suddenly on board with this pairing. Well, no, I was already gonna be on board with that pairing, let’s be honest. David 8/everybody.
Yup.
Also, when watching XMFC I was struck by how, for all the special effects and big moments, one of the things that stuck with me most after seeing it was the moment Erik stabs the guy’s hand and his hair falls out of order, and then he takes a moment to smooth it back. I’m sure they did the shot repeatedly to get that exact effect, but it still looks human and spontaneous and it feels like a moment you couldn’t replicate with a hundred million bucks worth of CGI, you know?
And here again, when she racks David against the wall, the way his hair moves tells you just how hard she’s shoving and how hard he’s hitting the wall, and it calls attention to how little it’s affecting the rest of him. His body maintains the same position, his head doesn’t snap back or move at all. You get a lot of information about what’s happening and David’s physicality, just from the movement of his hair. Fassbender has expressive hair, I guess is what I’m saying. Good hair acting, sir!
