HOW IN THE ACTUAL FUCK DOES ROB LIEFELD HAVE A CAREER? I DONT GET IT!!
Moreover, how did he know DC was pants on head retarded before we did? He left because he didn’t like where they were going.
That fucker came to his senses before we did. The fuck.
Rob Liefeld still has a steady career, and has learned how to draw feet after all these years.
Rob Liefeld still has a career primarily because his work always matches the specification and he hits his deadlines like clockwork.
(Anybody who’s ever worked as or with an artist will understand why this is a big deal.)
Excuse me, the entire decade of the ’90s would like a word. There were entire years when practically EVERY Image book was late, and Liefeld was one of the most consistent offenders. It’s even in his Wikipedia entry! “Liefeld has also gained a reputation for producing late books, primarily his creator-owned ones… Some issues of his series Youngblood shipped as much as nine months late.” Liefeld’s Doom’s IV had an expensive ad campaign and solicitation in spring/summer of 1993 and didn’t come out til 1994.
Liefeld has a career because enough people buy his work to make it worth hiring him. The End.
"Captain America is not here to lead the country. I’m here to serve it. If I am a Captain, I’m a soldier. Not of any military branch but of the American people. Years ago, in a simpler time, this suit and this shield were created as a symbol to help make America the land it’s suppose to be… To help it realize its destiny.
Could Cap be more my character type? Probably not.
Lil pre-serum Steve up there, asdkfl;j, MY HEART ♥
i don’t even know what to do about this asshole anymore
Modern AU collegiate Steve might look like Jensen, y/n? Okay, the facial hair is iffy, but it’s a different time… and if he looks like that because of a growth spurt or something rather than superserum, he might still need glasses…
This is a fascinating behind the scenes look at the process of creating pre-Cap li’l Steve Rogers. The guy who body doubled for li’l Steve had a hell of a job— doing all the same scenes with his face covered with green dots for later compositing!
This, together with yesterday’s images of James McAvoy looking mini and adorable on the football pitch, makes me want to contort a way to write Charles/li’l Steve.
