THROW OFF THE JANGLY YOKE OF OPPRESSION
HEIDI I LOVE YOU
Satire seems to be pretty difficult on the internet, especially places like Tumblr where things float across our screens without much or original context. When we don’t get something, I think it may be partially because we missed the point or take things too seriously (I have problems with stuff like that myself), but I think it might also be partially because, on a website with totally earnest Neo-Nazi My Little Ponies, it’s kind of tough to say anything is too out-there to be believed. It’s hard to know which is which, and it’s hard to say for certain that “unbelievable” even exists. Jonathan Swift would have had trouble if he had been two clicks away from people who really did want to eat Irish babies.
"Jonathan Swift would have had trouble if he had been two clicks away from people who really did want to eat Irish babies." —Best definition I’ve seen of Poe’s law.
FLOWERS DON’T MAKE IT BETTER, ERIK, JESUS.
A little better? Just a little better? He’s not wearing the helmet! That has to count for something!
