I tried to work this in and couldn’t make it happen, but the kids absolutely bought a glow-in-the-dark moon-shaped duvet for Charles & Erik’s bed. ♥

If you haven’t commented or hearted Cat’s art for our reversebang story Despicably Yours yet PLEASE LOOK AND DO SO, your eyeballs will thank you, it is fantastic. Also: Ornithologies! The (very different!) art by Cat is so gorgeous and I recommend the story too. Gloriously tragic and beautifully written.

Things don’t go as planned.

This is a fusion of X-Men: First Class with the adorable animated film Despicable Me, but should comfortably stand alone!

Even if you don’t check out the story, do yourself a favor and look at the full size versions of all the art, because it’s all gorgeous and adorable! Kyon has been top fun to collaborate with ♥

 “How are you?” Charles shifts again, and he must be looking at the wounds because he hisses, sharp and birdlike, and there is a loud flap of feathers in the air that makes Erik want to weep, because Charles is still an angel and Erik is… not.

“Human,” he says, and turns his face away into the rough fabric of the cloak he’s been using as a pillow.
